About this event

Since 2016, Professor Roothwig - alias Zoé Ladouce - researcher at FIGR and doctor in island biology specializing in polar zones with temperate climates, has developed a study on the influence of Llynegti in her region. The city - according to Roothwig - would be at the origin of the creation of Lutèce, ancient Paris.

Despite the controversies linked to this theory, Professor Roothwig offers 3 exclusive guided tours for the Nuit blanche. The idea is to meet Llynegti and discover the little-known past of Gentilly.

Indeed, Gentilly, formerly called Llynegti during the Paleolithic era, experienced a remarkable ice age 13,600 years ago. A notable city in the European region, it has preserved an unprecedented scientific heritage, which today is a reference for the greatest scientists of our time.

As such, the FIGR - French Institute for the Glacier Research - keen to extend research concerning the past of Llynegti, has developed considerable research in recent years to preserve and understand the history of Gentilly. Between scientific fiction and urban exploration, this guided tour immerses you in the forgotten history of Llynegti, ancient glacial Gentilly. Through the controversial research of Professor Roothwig, discover a little-known past that may have shaped the origins of Paris. More information on the artist
