About this event
With the Hawaf collective - Event organized as part of the 2026 Mediterranean Season
Two days for the contemporary Palestinian art sceneFor two days, the Gaîté Lyrique hosts the Sahab Festival, dedicated to the contemporary Palestinian art scene. It will bring together artists, researchers and audiences around a multidisciplinary program combining visual arts, performances, concerts, conferences, screenings, participatory workshops and immersive experiences.
Free and open to all, the festival will also include associations and initiatives supporting the artistic community of Gaza, and will offer a space for reflection around the issues of memory, imagination and artistic solidarity.
The complete program
A new artistic initiative for contemporary Palestinian creationSahab is an artistic initiative developed by the Hawaf collective. Since 2021, it has brought together artists and researchers to support contemporary Palestinian creation, while imagining new ways to preserve and share this cultural memory. Born from the idea of the Sahab Imaginary Museum, the project explores how art, imagination and digital tools can contribute to the construction of cultural infrastructures beyond borders and isolation. Rather than operating as a traditional institution, Sahab operates as a decentralized platform combining artistic production, research programs, workshops and scholarships.
