About this event

Digital projects

The OPLINEPRIZE International announces its 18th edition and confirms its position as the leading contemporary art prize dedicated to digital practices and online art.

Place under the theme “AI: Generative-Generation”, this edition explores the mutations of creation in the era of artificial intelligence: generative works, human-machine hybridizations, speculative fictions and new stories visuals.

Created in 2009 by Michèle Robine, the prize brings together 18 international curators and critics who each select an artist from emerging and established scenes. Faithful to its participatory DNA, OPLINEPRIZE entrusts the public with the task of electing the winner of the Public Prize via an online vote open from May 1 to 31, 2026 on the official website. This system, a pioneer in the field of digital art, creates a direct link between artists and international audiences.

The awards ceremony will be held on June 6, 2026, in Paris in the prestigious Richelieu amphitheater at the Sorbonne, as part of Nuit Blanche, a major event for contemporary creation. Three distinctions will be awarded: a Public Prize (online voting), a Curators' Prize and a New Media Jury Prize chaired by the artist Yann Toma.

Online voting: May 1 - 31, 2026
