OLIVIER DUBOIS, Boléro Electro Drummers, choreographic piece - Duration 50 minAt the beginning, a breath, an almost inaudible beat. With Drummers, Olivier Dubois accompanied 50 amateur dancers from Essonne in surpassing themselves through a collective dance inspired by Ravel's Boléro. Here, the individual disappears for the benefit of the whole, and the whole is only held together by each person. Each body becomes percussion, each gesture builds energy. Note the exceptional presence of Yuksek who will perform his electro version of Boléro live. Immerse yourself in a show where the beat grows, hypnotic, obsessive, until the explosion!
Olivier Dubois (born in 1972, in Roubaix. He lives and works in Paris) is a French choreographer and dancer recognized for his powerful and immersive work, combining rigor and collective energy. He explores rhythm, the body and stage presence, integrating professional and amateur dancers into his creations.
