Les Ateliers Daguerre offer, for Nuit Blanche, a program around love and celebration.
Two universes bear witness to love: on one side, a lush, teeming and colorful jungle. A passionate, generous, vibrant love, which can also become oppressive and suffocating because aren't the most beautiful plants sometimes toxic?
The public is invited to browse, to get lost in the perfumes of the workshops. Love can also be imbued with wisdom, like the mural by Luis Chenche currently visible: forgive, listen, to build oneself better.
Love is this impulse for life that we find in Anne Chpakovski's short films: fighting for one's convictions, projecting oneself beyond injustice, it is the impetuous passion of youth. Love is also celebration: freedom, letting go. The party is political, just like our ways of loving. This is the space that Jean Biche offers us with his DJ set in drag and his protest signs.
