About this event
Pulsations, Light installation, 2026Pulsations is a story of heartbeats that dialogue with the space of the conference room. The project was born from the notion of malfunction, that of the lighting in the conference room of the Niemeyer space. The work evokes the heartbeat, originally sonorous and here perceptible by the light intensity. The installation offers the story of characters who dialogue with each other. They are as many variations, colors, light intensities as different frequencies.
Léo Guidezis a visual artist and student of the Fresco and Situation Art sector at the Beaux Arts de Paris, he works with painting, projected image and light. After many years working in cinema, audiovisual and performing arts, he turned to personal artistic expression around traces, what disappears and the daily collection of material that he carries out during his travels. He has participated in numerous art projects in public spaces, in France and Latin America, notably with the Alliance Française in Guatemala.
A project co-produced as part of an educational partnership with the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, with the participation of Espace Niemeyer.
