During Nuit Blanche, all of the BAL spaces will be open to the public and free, until late: bookstore, exhibition space, café/restaurant, allowing you to create a place of discovery and conviviality in the dead of night.

Building on the success of the 2025 edition of "La Fabrique du Regard - Le Festival" and its Nuit Blanche with a "cinema" focus, the new edition will take over all the spaces of the BAL from June 2 to 7, 2026. During this week of exhibition, screenings, workshops and debates, 2,000 young people, around forty artists will discover and showcase their creations, films, publications, sound creations, imagined around the theme "Empowering oneself through images".
During Nuit Blanche 2026, LE BAL intends to design a special evening dedicated to live performance with several performances planned around the axis of transmission. The planned programming will give pride of place to several sensory experiences or speeches from guest personalities, as well as various moments of festivities (DJ Set, catering offerings, etc.). A few names are currently being considered and the idea would be to be able to join forces with another partner institution in order to promote the project.
LE BAL is an independent place dedicated to exhibition, publishing, reflection and education around the contemporary image in all its forms: photography, video, cinema, new media. Designed as a space for critical thinking, it explores the aesthetic, social and political issues of images in our society. Since its creation, LE BAL has presented more than 55 exhibitions and developed a demanding program, open to all audiences. Through La Fabrique du Regard, its educational and creative hub, more than 35,000 young people have been supported in image education and artistic practice courses, promoting critical thinking and emancipation.
