With La Femme-Benc, Charlotte Larouche affirms the performative dimension of her works and offers a reflection on feminist geography, the symbol of cities and urban furniture.
InLa Femme-Gazon, she creates a hybrid between a woman and plants. For her, a more egalitarian way of living together requires better integration of women in cities. This performance draws a parallel between the amount of vegetation existing in public spaces and the way in which women are welcomed in cities.
