The Literary Ball is a collective writing system imagined by the writer Fabrice Melquiot.
The day before the literary ball, four writers will meet in the secret spaces of the Conciergerie. Together, inspired by these places, they will compose a playlist of 8 songs: hits inscribed in collective memory, from the 1950s to the present day. Starting from observing the titles that make up their playlist, the writers of the literary ball will imagine a series in 8 episodes, created in situ and on the spot. Each writer will be assigned the task of writing 2 episodes among the 8. On the day of the literary ball, the writers will immerse themselves in writing the series, meeting three constraints:
Each episode will begin with a free echo of the song that precedes in the playlist.
Each writer will have to distribute his comrades as readers in the episodes that he or she will write.
Each episode will end with the title of the song that follows in the playlist. playlist.
