All alive - Manifesto for a reconnection to the livingIf today we often talk about climate, biodiversity is often neglected. However, as COP17 on biodiversity approaches, scheduled for October 2026 in Yerevan, Armenia, it is urgent to recall something regularly forgotten: we, humans, are part of nature. We are alive among the living.
For centuries, modern humans have been constructed in opposition to nature, seeking to dominate it rather than cohabit with it. This separation, between humans and the rest of life, has led us to consider nature as a resource to be exploited. The formula “All alive” is a reminder: an invitation to recognize ourselves as members of a whole, in a world where each being participates in the balance of our ecosystems.
Faced with a mass extinction, where it is estimated that 20 to 50% of species could disappear by the end of the century, the issue is no longer only ecological. It is a collective challenge and a political responsibility. How can we rediscover the desire to act together in a fragmented world? How can we reweave the links, between humans and non-humans, and imagine the possibility of a common future?
