Mr Choufleuri will stay at home this evening to receive everyone in Paris. He thought of everything: the menu, the champagne, the music... His daughter Ernestine, just out of boarding school, has already taken a lover that her father refuses to invite. A letter received an hour before the arrival of the first guests will force them to improvise.
Show lasting approximately one hour, in front of the Notre Dame des Victoires church.
Les Bavards is a lyrical chamber troupe, made up of fourteen amateur musicians (five singers and nine instrumentalists) and a director, who have set themselves the objective of bringing lyrical music to life for an uninitiated audience, for their to discover, or rediscover, a little-played repertoire.
Founded in 2023, by Thierry Mallet, Béatrice Beaupère and Thibaud Mercier, the troupe produces each year a one-act operetta from the 19th century. In addition to four general public dates, the troupe performs in places where access to culture is more difficult, such as the Necker hospital for sick children and in the Oasis nursing home in the 18th.
